Marks Customer Connect 2012 Tipping Competition

Marks|Customer Connect is hosting two tipping competitions for the 2012 Home & Away Premiership season, one for the AFL and the other for the NRL.

Entry is free and you can participate in either or both competitions subject to the "Competition Rules" below. You must register for each competition seperately.

The AFL and NRL competitions will each have a Weekly Round Winners prize of a $25.00 Woolworths Everyday Gift Card and each competition will have its own Overall Season Winner with a $500.00 cash prize.

Competition Rules

1. The Promoter. The promoter of the "Marks|Customer Connect 2012 Australian Picture Framing Industry AFL & NRL Tipping Competition" (hereafter "the competition") is Marks & Co Pty Ltd, ABN 52.007.653.241, of 72 Kinkaid Avenue, North Plympton, South Australia, 5037.

2. Who Can Enter. Entry to the competition is open to all customers of Marks & Co and their employees and all employees of Marks & Co. Entry to the competition is free.

3. Competition Start and Finish Dates. The NRL competition commences on 1st March 2012 and concludes upon the final game of round 26 of the 2012 Telstra NRL Home & Away Premiership season on 2nd September 2012. The AFL competition commences on 24th March 2012 and concludes upon the final game of round 23 of the 2012 Toyota AFL Home & Away Premiership season on 2nd September 2012. All finals are excluded from the competition.

4. Registration. Registration for the competition can only be via the Marks|Customer Connect website (www.marksco.com.au). Registration opens 17th February 2012. Participants who register after the commencement of the competition first rounds will be awarded the Away Team score for each missed round. Late entries will be received up until   5:00 pm CST the day prior to Round 5 of the respective NRL or AFL competitions. The promoter reserves the right to accept or reject any registrations at its discretion.

5. Communication. All communication between the promoter and the participant will be via the promoter's website and electronic mail. The promoter will email the results of each round to each participant and email reminder messages to each participant to lodge their tips before round cut off times. Upon registration participants agree to receive promotional and marketing material from the promoter. Participant's can only access the Competition Ladder via the promoter's website, www.marksco.com.au

6. Round Cut Off Times. Tips may be lodged up until 30 minutes before each game commences, after which registered entrants will receive the default tips of all Away Teams. Tips entered before the cut off deadline may be amended by the participant provided amendments are completed prior to the game cut off time. Participant's can only enter their tips via the  promoter's website.

7. Points Allocations. Participants will be awarded 1 point for each correctly tipped home win and 1 point for each correctly tipped away win. Participants cannot select a draw as a possible outcome. In the event a draw does occur participants will be awarded 1 point for that game regardless of which team they selected to win or were allocated by the competition's default tips.

8. Weekly Round Winners. A Weekly Round Winners prize of a $25.00 Woolworths Everyday Gift Card will be awarded in each of the AFL and NRL competitions to the participant who has the highest points (most winners) per round. In the event of a tie the winner will be the participant whose predicted tie-breaker margin is closest to the winning margin in the selected game of the round. If after the tie-breaker there is still more than one winner the Weekly Round price will be awarded to the participant who has entered their tips earliest. The Weekly Round prize cannot be shared. The prize will be remitted to the competition weekly round winners by mail. If a tipper fails to enter tips for all games in a round then they are not eligible for the Weekly Round prize.

9. Overall Season Winners. A Overall Season Winners prize of $ 500.00 cash will be awarded in each of the AFL and NRL competitions to the participants who have the highest points (most winners) for the competition. In the event of a tie the winner will be the entrant with the lowest accumulated margin difference for the season. If there is still a tie after the accumulated margin difference calculation the participant who registered on the earliest date and time will be determined the winner.

10. Determination and Notification of Overall Season Winners. The two Overall Season Winners of the competition will be determined at 10 am, Monday 3rd September 2012 at the address of the promoter and will be notified by email by 12 noon, Monday 3rd September 2012. The winners names will be displayed on the promoters website by 12 noon, Wednesday 5th September 2012.

11. Dispute Resolution. In the event of a dispute the decision of the promoter is final. No responsibility is taken by the promoter for lost or misdirection of registrations and weekly tips.

12. Amendment of Rules. The promoter reserves the right to amend the rules of the competition from time to time as considered necessary. Individual notice of such changes shall not be given but such changes will be recorded on the promoter's website.

13. Disclaimer. The promoter takes no responsibility for unauthorised access to any participant's tipping by any means, including where passwords have been revealed to third parties.

14. Enter Only Once. Participants may not enter more than one registration in each of the AFL or NRL competitions (paricipants can enter one registration in both AFL and NRL competitions). The promoter reserves the right to determine that a person havs made more than one registration and to disqualify any such entrant from the competition.

15. Promoter's Decision is Final. The promoters decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into in relation to the competition.
