Watermark Conservation Whitecore matboard has been manufactured to ISO:9001 and ISO:14001 standards.
Watermark Conservation Whitecore face papers and backing liner are acid free, made from pure neutral sized cellulose fibers, buffered with calcium carbonate (minimum 3% by weight).
The crisp, clean, white core is made from high grade, fully bleached hardwood and softwood pulp, which is lignin free. It is buffered with calcium carbonate and has a pH of 7.7 to 8.3 which is acid free.
The adhesive used is pure water based PVA, containing no solvents, with a pH of 7.5 which is acid free.
Watermark Conservation Whitecore is available in the most popular colours, each indivually selected for thier suitability for use in the unqiue Australian picture framing environment, all of which are proven "top sellers".
Standard board size is 813 mm x 1016 mm (32" x 40"). Thickness is 1400ums which is 4 ply.
A unqiue beneift of using Watermark Conservation Whitecore is the Jumbo size measures 1626 mm x 1016 mm (64" x 40"), a true double sized board which is 10% bigger than other oversized matboards.
