The face papers and backing liner of Watermark Blackcore are of the same acid free standard as those used to manufacture Watermark Conservation Whitecore matboard.
The deep, dark, black middle core is neutral pH buffered with calcium carbonate (minium 3% by weight).
The black backing liner is highly rub resistant as colourfast pigment dyes are used and it is the same colour as the middle core ensuring an even and consistent bevel or v-groove.
