The Canvas Stretch'r 60 is a 1,525 mm (60") wide manually operated canvas stretching machine that mounts on the end of a worktable taking up a mere 115 mm of space and, when not in use, the handle can be removed so it is out of the way.
Designed to work with the canvas placed horizontal on the worktable users don't have to hold the canvas in the air whilst stretching.
With open-ended clamps (which open 25 mm wide to accommodate all types of canvas), just like manual stretching pliers, and the correct tension built in, even gallery wrap stretchers are a breeze. No special skills or experience required - any one can do it!
Because the clamps are open ended users can stretch canvases that are longer than the machine itself. Alternatively you can connect several Canvas Stretch'rs together to handle large jobs.
The Canvas Stretch'r operates with a single tension lever, no air or electricity, and once the clamp is closed the operator is completely hands free to insert the staples.
The tension lever can be fitted to either the left or right side of the machine.
Can accommodate stretcher bar up to 62 mm ( 2.5") wide and any height.
Sturdily built in USA from aluminium and steel with beautifully engineered internal operating mechanism.
Stretching a 1 x 1 metre canvas can be done in under 3 minutes with Canvas Stretch'r.
Important: when using Canvas Stretch'r with an air stapler always wear safety glasses. When doing gallery wrap stretching the stapler is held under the edge and the staples inserted upwards so care must be taken.
